Cricut Sticker Pricing Calculator

Stickers are sheets first, stickers second. Your real cost per unit is the paper and lamination divided by how many stickers fit per sheet, plus the labor that amortizes across the batch. This calculator does the division for you and shows prices at common quantity tiers.

Quick answer

A single 3-inch matte sticker with lamination at 120% margin lands around $4.50. A pack of 5 holographic stickers at 110% margin is about $12 total. Bulk of 50 small 2-inch stickers at 100% margin drops to $0.50 to $0.80 per unit.

How to use this calculator

  1. Set sticker size. Width and height in inches determine how many stickers fit per sheet.
  2. Paper cost per sheet. Matte vinyl $2 to $3. Holographic $5 to $6. Specialty papers more.
  3. Stickers per sheet. Auto-estimated from dimensions; override to match your software layout.
  4. Lamination. Per-sheet pouch cost if you laminate. $0 if you don’t.
  5. Time and quantity. Design minutes amortize across the batch; print and cut minutes are per-sheet.
  6. Margin. 100% is a floor for stickers. 120% to 150% is typical because materials are cheap and labor dominates.

Three real scenarios

Single 3-inch sticker

Design 15 min, print 4 min, cut 6 min. Matte vinyl $2.50 a sheet, laminator pouch $0.40. 9 stickers fit per letter sheet. Quantity 1. $25 hourly rate, 120% margin.

One sticker needs one sheet, so materials are $2.90. Labor: 25 min at $25/hr = $10.42 total, $10.42 per unit. Total cost $13.32. At 120% margin, recommended is $29.30. That is why sellers never quote single stickers. Quote 3-packs and up.

Holographic pack of 5

Holographic paper $5.25 per sheet. 9 stickers fit per sheet, so 1 sheet covers 5. Design 20 min, print 4 min, cut 6 min. $25/hr, 110% margin, no lamination (built in to holographic).

Materials $5.25 spread across 5 stickers = $1.05 per unit. Labor: 30 min / 60 * 25 = $12.50 total, $2.50 per unit. Per unit cost $3.55. At 110%: $7.46 per sticker, or $37 for the 5-pack. That matches typical Etsy holographic listings at $35 to $42.

Bulk of 50 small 2-inch stickers

Glossy vinyl $2 a sheet. 20 stickers fit per sheet, so 50 need 3 sheets. Design 20 min (set up once), print and cut 9 min total. 100% margin.

Materials $6 across 50 = $0.12 per unit. Labor: 29 min / 60 * 25 = $12.08 total, $0.24 per unit. Per unit cost $0.36. At 100%: $0.72 per sticker. 50-pack total $36. Makes sense for promotional orders or event giveaways.

What goes into the price

Two buckets: materials per sheet and labor. Materials are paper cost plus optional lamination. Labor is design time (amortized) plus print and cut minutes per sheet. Quantity drives how cheap per-unit gets because labor amortizes fast.

What to do if your number looks off

  • Single-sticker price over $8. Either lower design time or set a 3-pack minimum.
  • Bulk per-unit over $2. Check stickers-per-sheet. A 2-inch sticker should fit 20 per sheet, not 9.
  • Margin warning at singles. Raise minimum order to 3 or 5. Single-sticker labor penalty is real.
  • Holographic not pricing higher than matte. Make sure you entered the holographic paper cost, not matte.
